      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Invisalign</image:title>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Invisalign</image:title>
<image:caption>Invisalign #4--Before What this patient hated the most about her teeth was the lower incisor that pointed inward and cast a shadow whenever she smiled. What she didn't notice was the "omega" shaped upper arch where the front of the arch is pointy and the outside edges of the canines are flared out.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Invisalign</image:title>
<image:caption>Invisalign #4--After This patient not only had her pesky lower incisor moved back into the arch, her upper arch is now much more rounded, resulting in a wider and fuller smile. This is why whenever a patient asks me if they can only fix one arch, I always tell them that treating both arches will give them a better result, even if it's not as noticeably misaligned at first.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Invisalign</image:title>
<image:caption>Invisalign #5--After. She was initially given a comprehensive orthodontic plan, but ultimately decided what mattered most to her was how her front teeth looked. In the end, even with limited treatment, the result improved her alignment significantly, and she is over the moon about being able to smile confidently now.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Porcelain Crowns and Veneers</image:title>
<image:caption>Crowns #3--Before. This is one of my FAVOURITE cases of all time, as it combines Invisalign, Porcelain Crowns and Cosmetic Bonding to restore this patient's smile. This patient only had tooth-to-tooth contact on three of his front teeth for fifty plus years because his front teeth were tilted inward and prevented contact on his back teeth. The severe wear was evident on those three pairs of upper and lower front teeth. It did not take much convincing on my part that his bite could be improved drastically to allow use of all of his teeth for the rest of his life. This photo shows the results at the end of his Invisalign treatment. See the corresponding BONDING post to see the before and after photos on his lower teeth!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Porcelain Crowns and Veneers</image:title>
<image:caption>Crowns #3--After. Normally we would do four crowns for symmetry, but his left lateral incisor was pristine and we agreed that we could achieve high esthetics just with three crowns. In his wife's words, "You are his new BFF!" See the corresponding BONDING post to see the before and after photos on his lower teeth!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Porcelain Crowns and Veneers</image:title>
<image:caption>Crowns #4--Before. The crowns had unsightly dark margins due to the older material used for the crowns. The shapes were also not harmonious with the surrounding teeth, and the shade and opacity were too much of a contrast. Lastly, bacterial accumulation at the crown margins caused the gums to be chronically inflamed.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Porcelain Crowns and Veneers</image:title>
<image:caption>Crowns #4--After. The improvement is drastic with a more natural looking material, a better matched shade and shape, and the gums are in better health because the margins are properly sealed.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Bonding</image:title>
<image:caption>Bonding #1--After. I used cosmetic bonding to increase the size of the lateral teeth and to close the midline gap between the central teeth. By increasing the thickness of the lateral teeth as well, it improved the arch contour. In the end, we re-introduced a smaller midline gap because the patient saw it as being truer to how she saw herself, and that was easy to do with the bonding.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Bonding</image:title>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Bonding</image:title>
<image:caption>Bonding #3--After. Cosmetic bonding was used to fill all the gaps, to harmonize the lengths, and ultimately to make her smile more esthetically appealing. With the teeth now touching, there is much more lateral stability.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Smile Gallery - Bonding</image:title>
<image:caption>Bonding #4--After. We whitened the teeth first, and then used cosmetic bonding to repair the chipped edges and to resurface two of the lower incisors. <image:caption>Bonding # 5- After. <image:caption>Bonding #6--Before. This patient lived with her chipped front tooth for years. When she was offered an opportunity to fix the chip, with the added benefit of addressing the exposed root and mismatched gumlines, she decided to take a leap of faith.</image:caption>
